It is our pleasure to mention Oxford Instruments Asylum Research as a user example, where GATTAquant products were applied to test the performance of their high-end atomic force microscope (AFM). Using the Cypher S – the highest resolution fast scanning AFM – GATTA-AFM nanorulers were imaged in tapping mode in liquid, demonstrating their quick and easy application as demo tool for imaging biological material. High performance images allowed to determine the substructural ladder shape of the DNA origami rectangles with a ladder step width of 6 nm and the typical height of 2 nm for double stranded DNA.
