It is our pleasure to mention the imaging facility of CECAD (Cologne, Germany) – as a reference customer of GATTAquant products. Nanorulers for STED microscopy were used to evaluate the resolution of a state-of-the-art STED microscope (Leica TCS SP8 STED 3X). A dual-color GATTA-STED 140ROR nanoruler was used to test the spatial resolution simultaneously in two channels. The nanorulers are labeled with 3 fluorescent marks. The central mark is labeled with Alexa 594, the two marks left and right are labeled with ATTO 647N. The distance between two neighbouring spots was 70 nm. Eye-catching images were gained after deconvolution, allowing to prove the optical resolution of the respective imaging system.
