GATTAquant nanorulers are delivered ready to use. This means no further sample preparation is necessary. You just put the sample on your microscope, start the acquisition and analyse the data with our GATTAnalysis software.

GATTAquant nanorulers are shipped immobilized on a coverslip and are embedded in polymer or imaging buffer.
No further sample preparation is necessary. You just put the GATTAquant nanoruler sample on your microscope but make sure that the coverslip side faces the objective (right inset of the picture).
Due to its much lower fluorescent signal (compared to a sample with stained cells for example) a sample of GATTAquant nanorulers makes it a bit more ambitious to focus on the surface. Therefore switch on laser and camera and drive carefully the objective control in one direction until the surface is visible. How a typical surface containing nanorulers looks like is illustrated in the video next to this text. Please take care, that there is enough immersion oil between objective and glass slide and that this is free of air bubbles because otherwise the sample probably cannot be imaged correctly.
Optimize the microscope settings and start the acquisition.
Process the raw data to get a super-resolution image in a common format (normally this is done automatically if you use a commercial system).
In order to analyze the data in an objective, easy and fast way we offer the GATTAnalysis software tool. Just import your data and check with a few clicks the spatial resolution of your microscope.
